Sabre Hospitality, a division of Sabre Corporation and a key player in global travel technology, has announced a major upgrade to its retailing platform, SynXis Retailing. This enhancement marks a significant evolution in how hoteliers can maximize revenue, allowing for the sale of standalone offers that are not tied to room reservations.

Scott Wilson, President of Sabre Hospitality, emphasized the strategic shift, stating, “The launch of standalone offers is a pivotal advancement in our innovation journey within the hospitality sector. Our upgraded SynXis Retailing platform now empowers hoteliers to diversify their revenue streams by selling a variety of experiences, services, and goods independently of room bookings. This capability is designed to enhance guest satisfaction through personalized and appealing offers, driving both higher satisfaction and revenue.”

Additionally, Sabre Hospitality has revealed plans to integrate automated fulfillment functionalities through a collaboration with Nuvola, a renowned task management solution provider. This integration is set to streamline the process of order fulfillment by automating ticket creation, scheduling, and notifications, which will significantly reduce manual intervention and increase efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Mykola Sheludko, Product Vice President at Sabre Hospitality, shared insights on the future trajectory of the platform, “As retailing continues to reshape the hospitality landscape, the upcoming integration with Nuvola this summer will further enhance our SynXis Retailing platform. Beyond 2025, we aim to expand our marketplace capabilities to include reselling third-party offers, providing our customers with extensive tools to thrive in a competitive market.”

The SynXis Retailing platform is engineered to support hoteliers in crafting effective merchandising strategies that resonate with current consumer expectations and the demands of future travelers. The platform’s Recommendation Engine, which utilizes predictive analytics and machine learning, plays a crucial role in boosting conversion rates by presenting tailored ancillary offers to guests.

Hotels using SynXis Retailing have seen significant financial benefits, with an average order value of $300 per ancillary booking, in addition to traditional room sales. Furthermore, properties that have transitioned to the enhanced platform have reported up to a threefold increase in ancillary revenue year-over-year.

Sabre’s latest update to SynXis Retailing sets a new standard in the hospitality industry, offering unprecedented opportunities for hoteliers to enhance guest experiences and achieve financial success through advanced digital retailing strategies.
