Paul Gauguin Cruises is excited to announce its 2026 voyages for the Moana Explorer Program, specially crafted to enrich the experiences of younger guests exploring Tahiti. This complimentary program will be available on 11 summer and holiday voyages aboard the m/s Paul Gauguin next year, continuing its successful partnership with Te mana o te moana, a foundation dedicated to marine education and conservation in the South Pacific.

Hélène Duran, General Manager at Te mana o te moana, expresses enthusiasm: “It has been a privilege to partner with Paul Gauguin Cruises to help inspire the visions and interests of our youngest global citizens. We look forward to continuing to share the unique culture, wildlife, and wilderness of French Polynesia with the kids both on board and ashore.”

Designed for children ages six to 15, the Moana Explorer Program offers a range of interactive activities that foster hands-on learning about the environment. Activities include hiking to volcanic peaks, discovering marine life through snorkeling in pristine lagoons, participating in beach “Survivor games,” creating natural jewelry, conducting water experiments, and embarking on thrilling treasure hunts.

The program is offered free of charge, complementing Paul Gauguin Cruises’ commitment to providing enriching experiences for young travelers. Additionally, children aged 17 and under sail for free when accompanied by their parents in the same suite or stateroom on all Paul Gauguin Cruises voyages.

Susan Robison, General Manager of Sales and Marketing for Paul Gauguin Cruises, highlights the program’s popularity and authenticity: “In partnership with Te mana o te moana, our Moana Explorer Program continues to be incredibly popular, offering young guests educational and fun activities led by local naturalists. This results in one of the most deeply authentic experiences children can have while exploring French Polynesia with Paul Gauguin Cruises.”

Families looking to immerse themselves in the wonders of French Polynesia while providing their children with educational adventures can now book their voyages for 2026 and join the Moana Explorer Program aboard the m/s Paul Gauguin.
