New A-Frame Glamping Cabins Just Two Hours from NYC

Experience nature without sacrificing comfort with Callicoon Hills’ new glamping cabins. Located in Callicoon Center, just two hours from New York City, this recently revitalized resort offers rustic A-frame cabins nestled among towering pines and hiking trails.

The A-frames, which opened last month, will be available each summer from May through October. These dog-friendly cabins feature plush beds, large windows, electricity, Wi-Fi, and solar-powered lights. Guests can relax by firepits in Adirondack chairs, perfect for s’mores and stargazing. A shared bathhouse with private bathrooms and rain showers is nearby.

Callicoon Hills, a historic resort dating back to 1905, offers a variety of lodging options, including the original boarding house, a pool house, ridge rooms, and a private two-bedroom cottage. Additional amenities include a sauna, lawn games, yoga classes, a gym, swimming, and hiking trails.

The ground floor of the historic boarding house houses the check-in desk, coffee shop, restaurant, and bar, blending modern upgrades with the resort’s classic charm.
