The unique in-flight chef helped Turkish Airlines also win Best Business Class Food.

Starting in 2025, Turkish Airlines will elevate the business-class experience with its new Crystal Business Class suites, designed to rival the high standards set by global carriers like Qatar Airways, Air France, and Lufthansa. This upgrade will enhance the comfort and luxury of long-haul flights, featuring lie-flat seats, private suites with sliding doors, and an array of advanced amenities.

Crystal Business Class: A New Standard in Luxury

The Crystal Business Class cabins will initially debut on Turkish Airlines’ Boeing 777-300ER fleet, with retrofitting beginning in 2025. By 2026, the new suites will also be standard in 70 new Airbus A350-1000 aircraft. Passengers can look forward to a sophisticated and private travel experience with 42 pod-style seats arranged in a staggered 1-2-1 configuration, ensuring every seat has direct aisle access. This layout improves on the current 2-3-2 configuration, which sometimes leaves passengers in less desirable middle seats.

Each suite is designed for maximum privacy and comfort, featuring a sliding door, a lie-flat seat measuring 23 inches, and a 22-inch 4K high-definition entertainment screen. Noise-reducing headphones will enhance the viewing experience, while high-tech features include a wireless charging station, USB-C and universal 110-volt outlets, adjustable ambient and reading lights, and elegant marble tables. The suites are finished with rose-gold accents and leather sourced from Türkiye, combining style with functionality.

Enhanced Onboard Experience and Catering

Turkish Airlines’ Crystal Business Class builds on its already impressive reputation. The airline’s business class was recently ranked 10th by Skytrax, an international air transport rating organization. Turkish Airlines also clinched the top spot for Best Business Class Onboard Catering, celebrated for its mezze platters and the “Flying Chef” service, where chefs collaborate with cabin crew to prepare gourmet meals in-flight.

Fleetwide Free Wi-Fi

In addition to the new business-class suites, Turkish Airlines is set to introduce free fleetwide Wi-Fi in late 2025. While details about the internet provider have yet to be announced, this move will position Turkish Airlines among the few airlines offering complimentary unlimited Wi-Fi, alongside carriers like Delta Air Lines and JetBlue.

Expanding U.S. Routes

Turkish Airlines continues to expand its global network, recently launching flights to Denver, its 14th destination in the United States. The airline now serves 347 cities in 130 countries, reinforcing its commitment to providing extensive connectivity and exceptional service worldwide.

In summary, Turkish Airlines’ upcoming Crystal Business Class suites promise a significant upgrade in luxury and comfort for its long-haul travelers. With advanced features, privacy enhancements, and a commitment to superior onboard service, the new cabins are set to redefine the business-class experience.
