Holland America Opens 2026 Alaska Cruises for Booking

Holland America Line has launched bookings for its 2026 Alaska cruise season, offering travelers a range of options aboard six ships from April to September. With departures from Seattle and Vancouver, as well as one-way trips between Vancouver and Whittier, guests can choose from a variety of itineraries lasting from a week to 28 days.

The new 14-day roundtrip Seattle itinerary is among the highlights of the season, promising an immersive Alaskan experience. “We are dedicated to creating an unparalleled Alaska program that showcases the state’s breathtaking beauty,” says Dan Rough, vice president of revenue management for Holland America Line. “Our goal is for guests to leave feeling inspired by their Alaskan adventure.”

The six Holland America ships sailing in Alaska for 2026 include Eurodam, Koningsdam, Nieuw Amsterdam, Noordam, Westerdam, and Zaandam. Destinations on offer range from Anchorage, Juneau, and Ketchikan to Kodiak, Wrangell, Sitka, and Valdez. Guests can also explore Prince Rupert and Victoria in British Columbia. Scenic highlights include Glacier Bay, Grenville Channel, Bella Bella, Johnstone Strait, and Seymour Narrows.

The popular 28-day “Alaska Arctic Circle Solstice” voyage returns for its third season, setting sail on June 7 to coincide with the Summer Solstice and journeying north above the Arctic Circle.

For those looking to extend their adventure, Holland America will offer cruisetours that include explorations of Denali National Park and the Yukon. While 2025 cruisetours are currently available, 2026 options will be released at a later date.

Onboard, guests can indulge in freshly sourced seafood through the Global Fresh Fish Program, enjoy expert lectures and workshops, and participate in a range of shore excursions, including helicopter glacier tours and wildlife sanctuary visits.

Holland America will also host the “On Deck for a Cause” 5K fundraising walk on its Alaskan voyages, with proceeds benefiting Alaska Geographic, the nonprofit partner of Alaska’s parks and conservation lands. Guests are invited to contribute $25 to this charitable cause.
