Later this year, Frontier Airlines will expand its domestic network with the launch of 11 new routes, connecting 15 airports across the United States. The new services, set to begin in October and November 2024, include both daily and weekly flights, with several routes being reinstated after previously being discontinued.

Starting on October 11, 2024, Frontier will revive three weekly round-trip flights between Atlanta, Georgia, and Austin, Texas. This route, which last operated in 2019, will connect Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) with Austin Bergstrom International Airport (AUS).

On the same day, the airline will also launch a new route between Seattle, Washington, and Salt Lake City, Utah. The service will operate three times a week, connecting Seattle Tacoma International Airport (SEA) with Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC).

The following day, October 12, 2024, Frontier will resume another weekly route, this time linking Hebron, Kentucky, and Sarasota, Florida. This service, which last flew in 2021, will connect Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) with Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ).

From October 27, 2024, Frontier will expand its presence at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in New York with two new daily routes. The first will connect JFK with Orlando International Airport (MCO), and the second will link JFK with Tampa International Airport (TPA).

Continuing its expansion, Frontier will reintroduce daily flights between Atlanta and Newark, New Jersey, on November 4, 2024. This route, which was last operated in 2020, will connect ATL Airport with Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR).

On November 14, 2024, the carrier will introduce two additional routes. The first will offer daily flights from ATL Airport to Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD), while the second will reconnect IAD with MCO in Orlando, with four weekly flights. The IAD-MCO route last flew in 2021.

Further expanding its network, Frontier will add three new routes from Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) starting on November 21, 2024. The airline will resume four weekly round trips between BUR and Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX), a route last flown in 2022. Additionally, daily flights will begin between BUR and San Francisco International Airport (SFO), and between BUR and Denver International Airport (DEN) on November 22, 2024.

This expansion reflects Frontier’s strategy to enhance connectivity across the United States, offering more options for travelers while reviving routes that have previously proven popular. The airline’s aggressive expansion is also a response to growing passenger demand as the travel industry continues its recovery.

Passengers looking to take advantage of these new routes can expect competitive fares and the low-cost service that Frontier Airlines is known for. With these additions, Frontier aims to strengthen its position in key markets and provide more convenient travel options for both leisure and business travelers across the country.
