Oceania Cruises Now Includes Gratuities in Cruise Fare

Oceania Cruises has announced that shipboard gratuities will now be included in the cruise fare for all guests. This new offering is part of a broader selection of included amenities under the cruise line’s “Your World Included” program, which begins on October 1, 2024, for all new reservations on sailings departing from January 1, 2025.

The new “Your World Included” initiative represents a shift in Oceania Cruises’ approach to onboard perks. Previously, gratuities were not automatically included for most guests, but now they will cover stateroom attendants, butlers, and dining waitstaff for all passengers. This change came in response to feedback from guests, who expressed a preference for having gratuities built into the cruise fare rather than paying them separately.

With the introduction of “Your World Included,” Oceania Cruises will be retiring its current “simply MORE” offer, which will end on September 30, 2024. Under “simply MORE,” guests received automatic shore excursion credits and a beverage package. However, with the new program, these specific perks will no longer be included automatically.

In addition to gratuities, the new “Your World Included” package will continue to offer several premium amenities at no extra cost. These include dining at all gourmet specialty restaurants, complimentary beverages such as sodas, juices, specialty coffees, and teas, as well as still and sparkling Vero Water. Guests will also enjoy unlimited Starlink WiFi access, allowing them to stay connected while at sea.

For those seeking wellness and fitness options, the program includes complimentary group fitness classes. Guests can also indulge in premium offerings like in-room dining, fruit smoothies, gelato, and artisan ice cream. Additionally, laundry services will be included, providing even more convenience for travelers.
