Azamara Unveils 2026 Summer Cruises with Solar Eclipse Voyages
Azamara Cruises is setting sail into the future with its 2026 summer schedule, unveiling 77 new itineraries across Europe. The fleet, comprising Azamara Journey, Azamara Quest, and Azamara Onward, will embark on voyages that span the Mediterranean and Northern Europe, featuring extended stays in destinations like Greece, Ireland, and the British Isles.
Among the highlights of Azamara’s 2026 offerings are three exclusive solar eclipse cruises in August, providing guests with a rare chance to witness this celestial event from the comfort of a cruise ship. “At Azamara Cruises, we’re committed to offering our guests extraordinary experiences,” said Michael Pawlus, Head of Itinerary Planning. “Including solar eclipse sailings in our 2026 program is an exciting addition, and we’re thrilled to provide this unique opportunity.”
In addition to these special sailings, Azamara will introduce five new maiden ports for its European voyages in 2026. These ports are only accessible to smaller ships and include Sarande in Albania, Fredericia in Denmark, Turku in Finland, Menton in France, and Karlskrona in Sweden. This expansion is part of Azamara’s strategy to offer guests access to less-traveled destinations and hidden gems throughout Europe.
The new itineraries will also feature enhanced pre- and post-land programs, giving travelers more immersive experiences in each destination. “Europe remains a top destination for us, and we’re excited to announce one of our largest European deployments to date,” Pawlus added. “With three ships operating in the region from March to October 2026, we’re able to provide more options than ever, including visits to new and off-the-beaten-path locations.”
