Etihad Airways has unveiled plans to launch its first nonstop flights to Warsaw, Poland, and Prague, Czechia, starting in summer 2025. This move marks the airline’s inaugural direct services to both destinations, highlighting its strategy to broaden its European network.

Beginning June 2, 2025, Etihad will operate four weekly flights between Abu Dhabi (AUH) and Warsaw (WAW), as well as four weekly flights between Abu Dhabi and Prague (PRG). Both routes will be serviced by the airline’s Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, known for their fuel efficiency and passenger comfort.

Antonoaldo Neves, Chief Executive Officer of Etihad Airways, expressed enthusiasm about the new routes. “We are proud to introduce Warsaw and Prague as our newest destinations, reflecting our commitment to expanding into new and exciting markets,” Neves stated. “These routes not only enhance our network but also provide an excellent opportunity to strengthen ties with these countries and attract more visitors to Abu Dhabi. This expansion is a key component of our growth strategy, aimed at boosting tourism and supporting the UAE’s vision for the future.”

The addition of Warsaw and Prague to Etihad’s route map is expected to offer improved travel options for passengers. Poland and Czechia have increasingly become important sources of visitors to the United Arab Emirates, making these new direct flights a significant development.

Etihad Airways currently serves over 70 destinations across Asia, Australia, Europe, the Middle East, and North America. The new flights to Warsaw and Prague will connect passengers to destinations across the Middle East, Asia, the Indian Subcontinent, and Australia, further enhancing the airline’s global connectivity.
