Seabourn Encore and Quest Expand Asia Cruises for 2024-2025
Seabourn is set to enhance its Asia offerings with two of its luxury ships, Seabourn Encore and Seabourn Quest, sailing through the region in late 2024 and 2025. This expansion aims to deliver exceptional experiences across Asia, featuring new destinations and exclusive excursions.
Seabourn Encore’s Asian Voyage
Seabourn Encore will embark on a captivating journey from December 2024 to March 2025, with a return in November 2025. The ship will cruise between vibrant Singapore and bustling Hong Kong, before heading to Japan. This itinerary offers guests the chance to explore a variety of destinations, including Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, the Philippines, and Japan. After its Asian adventure, Seabourn Encore will make its historic debut in the United States.
Seabourn Quest’s Seasonal Adventures
Seabourn Quest will focus on Japan, offering two distinct experiences: the cherry blossom season in spring and the autumn foliage in fall. New stops include Akita, Ishinomaki, Niigata, and Wakayama, allowing guests to immerse themselves in Japan’s seasonal beauty. These voyages provide a perfect blend of cultural immersion and scenic splendor.
Exclusive Shore Excursions
Seabourn is introducing new shore excursions in Japan, designed to enhance guests’ cultural and culinary experiences. The “Very Best of Kobe” tour offers a full-day exploration of Kobe’s landmarks, including the Himeji Castle and Koko-en Garden. Guests will also enjoy a meal featuring Kobe beef and visit the Kiku-Masamune Sake Brewery Museum to learn about traditional sake-making.
Another exciting addition is the “Hiroshige Museum & Tea Ceremony” tour. This half-day excursion includes a visit to the Tokaido Hiroshige Museum of Art, followed by a serene Japanese tea ceremony at the Miyuki-tei house.
Onboard Enrichment Programs
Seabourn Conversations will feature distinguished speakers on select cruises. Notable guests include Jim Laurie, an international writer and media consultant, and Anne Cleeves OBE, an acclaimed author.
