Norwegian Cruise Line has officially announced the Norwegian Luna, its latest Prima Plus Class ship, set to sail from Miami starting April 4, 2026. In its inaugural season, the 156,300-gross-ton vessel will offer Western and Eastern Caribbean itineraries, accommodating up to 3,550 guests.

Norwegian Luna will be 10% larger than its Prima Class counterparts, Norwegian Prima and Norwegian Viva. The ship will span 1,056 feet in length and is being built alongside its sister ship, Norwegian Aqua, which will debut in March 2025. Both vessels are being constructed by Fincantieri, with interior designs from leading studios like AD Associates, Rockwell Group, and Studio Dado.

The ship’s hull will feature an artistic design called “La Luna,” created by renowned street artist ELLE, inspired by the relationship between the moon and ocean tides.

Norwegian Luna will feature exciting amenities, including the Aqua Slidecoaster, a three-story hybrid rollercoaster and waterslide, and the Glow Court digital sports complex. Guests can also enjoy Ocean Boulevard, a 46,000-square-foot outdoor walkway, and the exclusive Vibe Beach Club for adults.

Dining options include the brand’s specialty Thai restaurant, Sukhothai, and the popular Indulge Food Hall. For a more exclusive experience, guests can access The Haven by Norwegian, a luxurious, ship-within-a-ship retreat with three-bedroom suites, 24-hour butler service, and private amenities like an infinity pool and spa.

Norwegian Luna’s debut promises guests a new level of innovation and luxury on their Caribbean voyages.
