Marriott has officially opened its first fully-conceptualized all-inclusive resort in Cancun, Mexico. The new Marriott Cancun, An All-Inclusive Resort, is a rebranding and transformation of the former Marriott Cancun, located in the heart of Cancun’s Hotel Zone, with stunning views of the turquoise waters of the Mexican Caribbean.

The resort began welcoming guests in February 2024, with its grand opening celebration taking place in September. Guests arriving at Cancun International Airport can take advantage of a complimentary Marriott shuttle service to the resort, located just 20 minutes away.

Accommodations
The Marriott Cancun All-Inclusive Resort boasts 450 modern rooms, including 34 suites. Room options range from lagoon and ocean views to premium oceanfront views, with all accommodations featuring private balconies. Rooms are designed with soothing sea-inspired tones, marble, and wood accents, creating a relaxing atmosphere.

Resort rooms, measuring 423 square feet, can comfortably accommodate up to four guests and include a mini fridge stocked with complimentary beverages and snacks, a writing desk, and a spacious bathroom with a shower. The larger Executive Suite offers 588 square feet of space, while the Magna Suite features 835 square feet with stunning ocean views. For those seeking luxury, the Presidential Suites span 2,067 square feet, offering two terraces, a fully equipped kitchen, and breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea.

Dining Options
The all-inclusive concept at Marriott Cancun features nine distinct dining venues catering to various tastes. From casual eats to fine dining, the resort ensures a range of culinary experiences for families and food enthusiasts alike.

Press + Start is a sports bar offering American cuisine with a nostalgic 1970s twist, while Mo’s Burgers & Shakes serves classic burgers and milkshakes. Cevicheria, a beachfront eatery, specializes in fresh ceviche and tacos, while Sacbé Beach Shack offers laid-back beach bites and cocktails.

Pizza lovers can enjoy 750 Pizzeria, located poolside, offering New York-style pizza by the slice. For healthy eaters, Botanika provides wellness-focused options, while HANA Polynesian Grill serves up a buffet breakfast and Polynesian-inspired dinners. Casa Madre delivers traditional Mexican cuisine with a la carte dinners and themed entertainment. Guests can also enjoy a theatrical dining experience at Ono Teppanyaki, where chefs prepare meals tableside.

Entertainment and Activities
The resort features three heated pools, including an adults-only pool, a main pool with whirlpools, and a kid-friendly water zone with slides, a lazy river, and interactive water features. While the resort does not have its own spa, guests have access to the luxurious JW Marriott spa next door, and the fitness center has been fully renovated.

The re-imagined CAMP Club offers fun and creative activities for children aged 4-12, while the resort’s restaurants provide nightly entertainment, such as mariachi bands and cultural performances.

Guests can also participate in ceviche-making classes, tequila tastings, and other cultural activities, adding to the immersive experience.
