Heritage Line has unveiled a stunning redesign of its boutique river cruise ship, Violet, just in time for its 15th anniversary. The luxury Southeast Asia cruise line has completed an extensive refurbishment, enhancing both the public and private areas of the vessel, which now features a sophisticated blend of French-Indochinese and Art Deco styles. Violet is set to return to service in Halong Bay, Vietnam, on October 31, 2025.

The makeover includes updates to the ship’s library lounge, restaurant, bar, boutique shop, sun deck, and suites. In addition, a new private dining venue has been introduced, offering guests an exclusive dining experience with a specially curated menu. The redesign incorporates stunning hand-painted murals, bold patterns, and textures inspired by the natural beauty of Halong Bay.

“We are dedicated to continually elevating our vessels to provide guests with an unmatched combination of luxury and cultural authenticity,” says Andreas Schroetter, director of sales and marketing for Heritage Line. “With Violet’s modernized design, we’ve enhanced its standing as one of the most intimate and luxurious ships in Halong Bay. It’s the perfect choice for honeymooners, VIPs, multi-generational families, and private charters looking for exclusivity and a deeper connection to Southeast Asia’s cultural heritage.”

The redesigned Violet now offers a more refined and private experience, making it a top choice for travelers seeking a luxurious journey through one of Vietnam’s most iconic regions. With its elegant new look, the ship promises a unique combination of comfort, exclusivity, and cultural immersion, ideal for those exploring the stunning scenery of Halong Bay.
