Carnival Cruise Line’s Carnival Radiance has returned to service in Long Beach, California, following an extensive renovation during its dry dock period. The ship, originally launched in 2000 as Carnival Victory, has been transformed into a Sunshine Class vessel, offering a range of new amenities for guests to enjoy.

Carnival Radiance now boasts updated youth areas and enhanced sports facilities, including a mini golf course and a ropes course. In addition, several of the ship’s public spaces received upgrades, such as the Carnival Adventures store, gift shops, and the onboard casino.

The ship, which accommodates nearly 3,000 guests, continues to feature popular dining venues such as RedFrog Pub, BlueIguana Cantina, Guy’s Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que Smokehouse, and Shaq’s Big Chicken, providing a diverse selection of culinary experiences.

Technical improvements were also made during the dry dock to enhance the ship’s overall performance. Carnival Radiance now sails year-round from Long Beach, offering 3-6 day cruises to Baja Mexico and the Mexican Riviera. In 2025, the ship will also offer six 14-day Carnival Journey sailings to Hawaii, stopping at Maui, Honolulu, Kauai, and Hilo, offering a unique opportunity for longer voyages.

With its refreshed amenities and new itineraries, Carnival Radiance continues to deliver an exceptional cruising experience for passengers.
