Hyatt’s Destination Unveils Multigenerational ‘Roots to Reunion’ Program

Destination by Hyatt has launched its new ‘Roots to Reunion’ program, designed to offer multigenerational families unique vacation experiences that strengthen bonds. Available at participating resorts through April 2025, the program connects guests with family travel experts to create personalized itineraries, featuring local adventures, hidden gems, dining, and immersive excursions.

Katie Johnson, Vice President, Global Brand Leader for Hyatt’s Independent Collection, emphasized the program’s purpose: “Today’s travelers seek immersive, bond-building experiences but can find planning overwhelming. ‘Roots to Reunion’ simplifies the process, offering personalized guest experiences that help families reconnect.”

The program is available at six Destination by Hyatt resorts, each offering distinctive family-friendly activities:

  • Everline Resort & Spa Lake Tahoe (California): A year-round outdoor hub with ski-in/ski-out access, golf, cross-country skiing, ice-skating, and hiking trails.
  • Hana-Maui Resort (Hawaii): A luxury, secluded retreat on Hawaii’s eastern coast near the iconic Road to Hana.
  • SCHLOSS Roxburghe (Scotland, UK): A countryside escape featuring self-catering cottages, a golf course, and outdoor activities like shooting and fishing.
  • Suncadia Resort (Washington): A forested mountain retreat offering hiking, biking, golf, and Pacific Northwest dining.
  • The Lodge at Spruce Peak (Vermont): Ski-in/ski-out luxury with seasonal recreation, including skiing, snowboarding, and farm-to-table dining.
  • Wild Dunes Resort (South Carolina): A 1,600-acre resort with spa services, golf, and local cuisine.

This program reflects Hyatt’s commitment to creating memorable family travel experiences across its luxury properties.
