Air Calin, the airline of New Caledonia, has announced the launch of nonstop flights between Paris-CDG and Bangkok (BKK), starting on December 11, 2024. This new route will be part of the extended service from Noumea’s La Tontouta International Airport (NOU) in New Caledonia to Paris, with a stopover in Bangkok.

Originally, the Bangkok stop was expected to be technical only, without passenger boarding or disembarking. However, the latest announcement confirms that travelers will now be able to board and disembark in the Thai capital.

Air Calin will operate this route twice weekly, departing Paris on Wednesdays and Saturdays, utilizing its Airbus A330-900neo aircraft. These planes feature a three-class configuration with 26 business class seats, 21 premium economy seats, and 244 economy seats.

This service marks Air Calin’s first European destination, as the airline already operates an extensive network throughout the Asia-Pacific region. With this new connection, Air Calin expands its reach, offering a direct link between France and Thailand.

Travelers can now enjoy the comfort of Air Calin’s modern fleet while exploring both New Caledonia and Thailand, with easy connections to Paris.
