Air Century (Y2, Santo Domingo La Isabela) has added its first Gulfstream Aerospace jet, a GIV-SP, to its executive charter fleet. The aircraft, HI1111 (msn 1473), completed its inaugural flight under Dominican registration on July 21, 2024, flying from Kinston to Miami Opa-Locka. The 22-year-old jet, configured to accommodate up to 13 passengers, was initially registered in Mexico and operated for a year before being registered in the United States. Most recently, it was used by FlyExclusive (JRE, Kinston) under the N410JS registration, with its final flight under the FlyExclusive code conducted in May 2024.

Air Century, known for its scheduled passenger services, private jet charters, and cargo transportation, now boasts the Gulfstream in its executive charter fleet alongside a 26.8-year-old Cessna Citation VII. According to the ch-aviation fleets module, the operator also operates three Bombardier CRJ200ERs and a BAe Jetstream 32. Its current route network connects Punta Cana and Santo Domingo Las Américas to Aruba, Curaçao, Port au Prince, and St. Maarten.

The addition of the Gulfstream GIV-SP enhances Air Century’s luxury offerings in the competitive private jet charter market. Meanwhile, FlyExclusive will continue to operate five other GIV-SPs under its Part 135 certificate, alongside a diverse fleet of Citation and Challenger aircraft. FlyExclusive specializes in private jet charters, fractional ownership, aircraft sales, acquisitions, and maintenance services.
