FlyMex Expands Fleet with First Global Express Jet

FlyMex (NTG, Toluca) has expanded its fleet with the addition of its first Bombardier Global Express, XA-OOK (msn 9106), marking a significant milestone for the operator. According to ch-aviation research, the 23.2-year-old business jet was ferried from Vienna to Toluca between June 28-29, 2024, after operating under its previous registration, OE-IRP. The aircraft was previously managed by RP Aircraft Management (AXA, Vienna) and used the ‘AXA’ code during the transfer process.
Upon arrival at Toluca, the aircraft was officially added to FlyMex’s fleet and underwent its first test flight around the Toluca area on September 20, 2024. The Global Express was subsequently deployed for its inaugural commercial flight to Cozumel on November 6, 2024, marking a key step in FlyMex’s growth in the private charter market.
The Global Express, which can accommodate up to 12 passengers (seven in a sleeping configuration), was last refurbished in 2018, ensuring a modern and luxurious experience for passengers. It will be based out of Toluca Airport, further strengthening FlyMex’s operations in Mexico. The aircraft is a highly sought-after choice for long-range, luxury travel, offering unparalleled comfort and advanced technology.
FlyMex’s fleet is diverse, consisting of a range of aircraft for various types of charter operations. Along with the newly acquired Global Express, FlyMex operates one Learjet 45XR, one Do328-300, one Gulfstream G450, one Hawker 850XP, one BAe-125-800A, one Gulfstream G200, one Embraer E145, two Legacy 600s, and one AW109 helicopter. The addition of the Global Express highlights FlyMex’s commitment to expanding its services in the high-end private aviation sector, catering to clients seeking premium air travel options.
As FlyMex continues to grow, the new Global Express will enhance its ability to provide long-haul luxury flights to a broader range of destinations, reinforcing the company’s position in the competitive private charter market. The operator’s ongoing fleet expansion signifies its ambition to offer more diverse and sophisticated options to its clientele.
