National Jets Expands Fleet with GIV-SP and Hawker 800XPi

National Jets (EGS) has expanded its Part 135-certified fleet with the addition of its first Gulfstream GIV-SP and Hawker 800XPi aircraft, strengthening its charter service offerings. The GIV-SP, registered as N428KS (msn 1360), completed its first flight under National Jets’ “ESG” code on November 1, 2024, flying from Fort Myers Southwest Florida to Fort Lauderdale International. This 25.3-year-old jet previously operated under the certificate of Planet Nine Private Air (PVA), which still holds four other GIV-SP units. Prior to that, it spent 16 years with NetJets Aviation (EJA), maintaining its US registration throughout its operational history.
In addition to the GIV-SP, National Jets also welcomed its first Hawker 800XPi, with the aircraft N130YB (msn 258590) flying for the first time under the “ESG” code on October 10, 2024, on a route from Fort Lauderdale International to Providenciales. Before joining National Jets, the 21.9-year-old Hawker operated under the Part 135 certificate of Business Aviators (OTA), completing its final flight under the “OTA” code on July 21, 2024, with a roundtrip flight between Fort Lauderdale and Marsh Harbour. This aircraft has been US-registered throughout its operational life and was the last of its type in Business Aviators’ certified fleet.
With these two additions, National Jets now operates a fleet of four aircraft in its charter division. The expanded fleet includes one GIV-SP, one G550, one Hawker 800XPi, and one Learjet 40. This growth further solidifies National Jets’ position in the private jet charter market, enabling the company to provide even more diverse options for its clients.
National Jets specializes in private jet charters, aircraft management, and maintenance services. The company also offers Fixed Base Operations (FBO) at Fort Lauderdale International Airport, providing comprehensive aviation services to both private and commercial clients. With the addition of the GIV-SP and Hawker 800XPi, National Jets is well-positioned to meet growing demand for luxury air travel and aircraft management.
