Virgin Voyages Enhances Incentive Program for Travel Advisors

Virgin Voyages, the adults-only cruise line led by Richard Branson, is elevating its incentive program for travel advisors, affectionately called “First Mates.” In response to the upcoming holiday season and Wave Season, the brand is rolling out new perks while also bringing back popular offers. This move demonstrates Virgin Voyages’ commitment to supporting its travel advisor community, with tailored incentives designed to meet their needs.

“Our goal is to ensure that our First Mates are equipped with the right tools to succeed,” said John Diorio, VP of North American Sales for Virgin Voyages. “We’ve listened to feedback and created incentives that reflect what our advisors and clients want. As we approach Wave season, there’s never been a better time to promote Virgin Voyages, with new Alaska itineraries, the debut of the Brilliant Lady, and exciting new entertainment and restaurant options.”

Virgin Voyages is offering both fresh perks and familiar favorites to travel advisors, including:

10 Percent Discount for Early Bookers
For clients who book their cruise at least 180 days in advance and pay in full, Virgin Voyages is offering a 10 percent discount on the cruise fare. This incentive encourages early planning and provides clients with the opportunity to secure savings long before their travel date.

Reintroduced Bar Tab Offer
Due to high demand, Virgin Voyages has brought back the popular Bar Tab Bonus promotion. Guests can pre-purchase a Bar Tab for onboard drinks and receive bonus credit ranging from $25 to $250, depending on the amount they put down. This return has been highly requested by both guests and travel advisors, providing added value to the onboard experience.

Reduced Single Supplement for Solo Travelers
With solo travel on the rise, Virgin Voyages is reducing its single supplement, making it easier for solo cruisers to embark on an adventure without paying extra for an empty cabin. Solo travelers can enjoy up to $3,500 off their fare, as well as exclusive onboard experiences tailored for individuals, such as meet-ups, fitness classes, pub crawls, and spa days.

These incentives come on the heels of Virgin Voyages’ Black Friday sale, which offers up to 80 percent off for a second passenger and a $300 Bar Tab. This sale provides additional opportunities for travel advisors to promote Virgin Voyages and drive bookings.

Virgin Voyages is also committed to offering some of the highest commission rates in the cruise industry for its travel advisors, along with a NCF-free structure (no non-commissionable fees). This unique distinction allows First Mates to maximize their earning potential while delivering an exceptional cruise experience to their clients.

With these updated incentives and a continued focus on advisor success, Virgin Voyages is strengthening its partnership with travel advisors, ensuring they are well-equipped to share the Virgin Voyages experience with new and returning clients.
