MGM Resorts International properties are gearing up for the holiday season with a series of festive displays and experiences across Las Vegas. While snow may be rare in the desert, the city’s iconic resorts are embracing the spirit of the season with a variety of activities and themed events that are sure to get visitors in the holiday mood.

At the renowned Bellagio, the Conservatory & Botanical Gardens is showcasing this year’s holiday display, titled ‘Twas,’ inspired by the beloved poem “A Visit from St. Nicholas” by Clement Clarke Moore. The immersive exhibit brings the magic of Christmas to life, with stunning holiday-themed floral arrangements and dazzling seasonal decorations, capturing the essence of a winter wonderland.

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is bringing back its popular Ice Rink for the 13th year, offering visitors a unique holiday experience on the resort’s rooftop. The rink offers breathtaking views of the Las Vegas Strip, creating a picturesque setting for guests to enjoy ice skating under the stars. A special tree lighting ceremony will take place on December 1, hosted by television personality Chelsea Handler, kicking off the festivities. The resort’s newly reimagined mountaintop village, The Chalet, features open-air fire pits and festive decor, providing the perfect atmosphere for holiday cheer. Throughout the season, guests can also enjoy classic holiday films shown on the resort’s impressive 65-foot marquee every Monday and Tuesday at 7 p.m.

Over at Mandalay Bay, the annual “Santa in the Shipwreck” event at Shark Reef Aquarium adds a playful twist to the traditional holiday experience. Children 12 and under receive a complimentary photo with Santa Claus with each paid admission. This year, Santa will be accompanied by a holiday helper like no other—Santa Jaws, a large and toothy holiday companion, adding a bit of fun and excitement to the event.

Excalibur Hotel also joins in the holiday celebrations with special events and activities for guests of all ages. Across MGM resorts, food and beverage specials will add to the festive atmosphere, providing a variety of seasonal treats and drinks to enjoy throughout the holiday season.

From light displays and holiday films to unique photo ops with Santa, MGM Resorts in Las Vegas is offering a wide range of holiday experiences for guests. Whether you’re visiting the Bellagio’s botanical gardens or enjoying ice skating at The Cosmopolitan, the city’s top resorts are ready to deliver a magical holiday season full of excitement and festive cheer.
