Phenix Jet Retires Global XRS from US Charter Fleet

Phenix Jet, an established provider of private jet charter services operating under a Part 135 certificate, has retired its only Global Express XRS from its United States-based fleet in November 2024. This development, confirmed by recent industry research, marks a strategic shift in the company’s lineup of ultra-long-range business jets. Despite the retirement of the Global Express XRS, Phenix Jet remains firmly committed to serving high-end clients from Teterboro and beyond, maintaining a robust selection of Bombardier aircraft to meet diverse travel needs.

With the departure of the Global Express XRS, Phenix Jet’s U.S. charter fleet now consists of six Bombardier Business Aircraft, specifically a Global 6000, a Global 6500, and four Global 7500s. These aircraft are designed to deliver premier comfort, speed, and intercontinental reach, ensuring passengers enjoy seamless long-haul journeys. The retention of these state-of-the-art jets reinforces Phenix Jet’s emphasis on premium customer experiences, as each Bombardier model is renowned for cabin spaciousness, advanced technology, and extended range capabilities.

The retired Global Express XRS, registered as N2379T (msn 9409), is approximately 14.4 years old. Phenix Jet had operated it since 2022, taking advantage of the aircraft’s impressive long-range performance and luxurious interior. Although it is no longer listed as Part 135-certified, this move does not reflect a decrease in service quality. Instead, it underscores the company’s commitment to refining its fleet with more modern, efficient, and in-demand aircraft offerings.

In addition to its Bombardier inventory, Phenix Jet manages four Gulfstream Aerospace jets under its certificate: a G650, a G650(ER), and two G650ERs. These Gulfstream models represent some of the most technologically advanced and capable business aircraft available, offering high-speed cruise capabilities, superb range, and upscale amenities. By diversifying its fleet across both Bombardier and Gulfstream platforms, Phenix Jet can tailor its services to a wide range of client preferences, ensuring flexible and reliable operations in a competitive market.

Under the ‘CPJ’ code, Phenix Jet Cayman operates a Boeing Business Jet B737-700(BBJ) and a Global 7500, among other managed aircraft, catering to international clients who require customizable travel solutions. The Cayman Islands-based operation further enhances the company’s global footprint, offering convenient access to various destinations worldwide and supporting the demands of an international clientele.
