Qatar Executive to Equip Gulfstream Fleet with Starlink

Qatar Executive, the private jet charter division of Qatar Airways, has announced its plans to integrate Starlink connectivity into its fleet of Gulfstream G650ER aircraft. The announcement was made at the opening of the MEBBA Show 2024, held at Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai on December 12, 2024.

The first Starlink-equipped Gulfstream G650ER is scheduled to take flight on December 14, 2024. Qatar Executive aims to outfit the first five aircraft with this advanced technology by May 2025 and plans to extend Starlink to the rest of its Gulfstream fleet over the following 18 months.

Starlink, developed by Elon Musk’s SpaceX, is set to provide high-speed Wi-Fi service with speeds up to 350 megabits per second, establishing a new “benchmark” in business aviation connectivity.
