Four Seasons is set to make its debut in Puerto Rico with the opening of the Four Seasons Resort and Private Residences Puerto Rico at Bahia Beach, Rio Grande. Partnering with Paulson Puerto Rico, the luxury hospitality brand aims to enhance its Caribbean presence with this beachfront property, slated to open in late 2025.

The 483-acre resort will offer 139 guest rooms and suites, alongside 85 private residences, with additional units planned for the residential portfolio. Conveniently located 30 minutes from San Juan’s Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport, the property will undergo extensive renovations led by design firm Meyer Davis, known for their work on Four Seasons properties worldwide.

Renovations will feature modern interiors, enhanced spa facilities, redesigned pools with ocean views, and an inviting lobby with panoramic vistas. Guests and residents can enjoy two miles of white sand beaches, scenic trails, tennis courts, multiple pools, an 18-hole golf course, and diverse dining options, including a new oceanside restaurant.

Bart Carnahan, President of Four Seasons Global Business Development, expressed excitement about the brand’s expansion into Puerto Rico, calling it a prime destination for luxury travelers and homeowners. John Paulson, founder of Paulson & Co., emphasized Puerto Rico’s growing appeal as a luxury destination.

The resort’s reimagined offerings aim to deliver a world-class experience while preserving the island’s natural beauty. Upon completion, it will join Four Seasons’ Caribbean portfolio, which includes properties in The Bahamas, Anguilla, and Nevis, along with future developments in Belize and the Dominican Republic.
