Viking Introduces 10 New Itineraries Across Europe for 2026-2027

Viking has announced the launch of ten new ocean itineraries for the 2026 and 2027 sailing seasons, expanding its offerings across the Mediterranean, United Kingdom, Ireland, and Northern Europe. These itineraries, ranging from eight to 22 days, cater to travelers seeking comprehensive and immersive voyages in some of Europe’s most iconic destinations. Bookings for these exciting new journeys are now open.

The expansion includes visits to twelve new recurring ports that enrich Viking’s already diverse destinations. These include Fowey, England; Bordeaux, France; Limerick (Foynes), Ireland; Riga, Latvia; Klaipeda, Lithuania; Londonderry, Northern Ireland; Haugesund, Norway; Palma de Mallorca and Bilbao, Spain; Fort William and Tobermory, Scotland; and Karlskrona, Sweden. These additions promise to offer travelers unique and enriching experiences in lesser-known as well as popular European locales.

Torstein Hagen, chairman and CEO of Viking, highlighted the growth of Viking’s fleet and its focus on curating thoughtful voyages for curious travelers. “Every Viking itinerary is focused on the destination, and our state-of-the-art ships, with no children and no casinos, allow guests to explore the world in elegant Viking comfort,” said Hagen.

The new itineraries include:

  • “Amalfi Coast, Africa & Iberia,” an 8-day sailing between Rome and Barcelona, exploring diverse landscapes and cultures.
  • “Spain & Portugal Discovery,” an 8-day voyage between Lisbon and Barcelona that delves into the rich history and vibrant life of the Iberian Peninsula.
  • “Iberia, France & England Explorer,” a 12-day cruise from Lisbon to London, offering a broader exploration of Western Europe.
  • “Scandinavian Discovery,” an 8-day journey between Oslo and Stockholm, focusing on the stunning natural beauty and modern cities of Scandinavia.
  • “Baltic Discovery,” an 8-day itinerary exploring the historic capitals and cultural treasures between Stockholm and Copenhagen.
  • “Nordic Wonders,” an 8-day voyage showcasing the dramatic landscapes and cultural highlights between Oslo and Bergen.
  • “British Isles & Ireland,” a 15-day exploration from London to Belfast, encompassing the rich history and rugged coastlines of the region.
  • “Scandinavia & Baltic Capitals,” a 15-day sailing offering an extensive look at the historic cities and scenic beauty of the Baltic Sea region.
  • “Scenic Scandinavia & Baltic Jewels,” a 15-day trip connecting the natural wonders of Scandinavia with the historic gems of the Baltic.
  • “Icons of the Viking Age,” a 22-day comprehensive route from Bergen to Copenhagen, designed for those fascinated by the historical narratives of the Viking era.
