China Airlines to Offer Over Six Months’ Salary to Staff

Employees of China Airlines are set to receive a substantial year-end bonus, potentially exceeding six months’ worth of their salary, according to reports from local media outlet Focus Taiwan. The Taiwanese flag carrier plans to grant each employee NT$145,000 ($4,276) in addition to an annual bonus averaging 6.6 months of their regular pay. These proposals are scheduled to be presented to the airline’s board of directors for approval on January 13, 2025.
