Carnival Cruise Line is set to make waves in the Asia-Pacific travel market with the debut of four new voyages scheduled for 2026 and 2027. The highly anticipated “Carnival Journeys” sailings will be offered aboard two of Carnival’s standout ships, Carnival Luminosa and Carnival Adventure (formerly known as the P&O Cruises Australia ship). These innovative itineraries will take guests to a host of enticing destinations throughout Japan, Southeast Asia, and Australia, and will feature seven ports that Carnival Cruise Line has never visited before.

The Carnival Journeys cruises promise to bring exotic new experiences to eager cruisers. Fred Stein, vice president of itinerary planning for Carnival Cruise Line, explains, “These new itineraries represent some of our most exotic and diverse offerings in the Asia-Pacific region. With our expanded deployment in Australia, we’re able to offer our guests itineraries with more variety along with the Carnival experience they know and love – and this includes the rare experience of sailing with our ships as they mark inaugural visits to several ports and countries across the region.” This statement underscores Carnival’s commitment to providing unparalleled travel experiences that combine adventure, cultural discovery, and the exceptional service the brand is known for.

During 2026, Carnival Luminosa is set to launch two impressive voyages. The first is a 14-day journey from Tokyo to Singapore, departing on October 9. This cruise itinerary is especially notable for its stellar line-up of inaugural port calls. Guests will have the chance to explore Hong Kong for the first time with Carnival, while also enjoying the sights of Japan with stops in Osaka (Kyoto) and Fukuoka (Hakata). The voyage further extends to South Korea with a visit to Seogwipo (Jeju) and Taiwan with a call at Keelung (Taipei). Additionally, the itinerary includes a stop at Phu My (Ho Chi Minh) in Vietnam, further enriching the experience with a broad taste of Asia’s diverse cultures and landscapes.

The second 2026 itinerary on Carnival Luminosa is another 14-day cruise, this time journeying from Singapore to Brisbane, departing November 30. This route offers a vibrant mix of stops, including a visit to Bali and a series of Australian destinations such as Darwin, Cairns, and Airlie Beach. This itinerary provides guests a rare opportunity to experience both the bustling cultural melting pot of Singapore and the laid-back charm and natural beauty of Australia’s coastlines.

Looking ahead to 2027, Carnival Adventure will also play host to two new voyages. The first is a 14-day cruise from Sydney to Singapore, departing January 27. This itinerary incorporates stops in iconic Australian destinations such as Airlie Beach and Darwin, along with excursions to Bali and Lombok in Indonesia. The second offering in 2027 is a 9-day Southeast Asia cruise that departs from Singapore. This round-trip journey is particularly noteworthy, featuring first-time visits for Carnival in Koh Samui and Laem Chabang (Bangkok), Thailand, and Sihanoukville, Cambodia. In addition, guests will once again have the chance to visit Phu My (Ho Chi Minh) in Vietnam.

Carnival Cruise Line’s new Asia-Pacific itineraries bring fresh, exciting options for travelers seeking adventure across less-traveled and culturally rich regions. With a blend of inaugural port calls and diverse cultural destinations, these voyages are set to redefine the cruising experience in the region and offer unforgettable journeys for seasoned cruisers and newcomers alike. Bookings are expected to fill quickly as guests look to join Carnival on these landmark voyages into Asia-Pacific’s most alluring destinations.
