WEJET Expands Gulfstream Charter Ops with G200

WEJET has expanded its charter operations by incorporating a Gulfstream Aerospace G200, reinforcing the company’s reputation in the premium charter market. The addition of the G200 in December 2024 marks a strategic enhancement to WEJET’s fleet, which includes a mix of classic business jets that serve a discerning clientele. This development was confirmed by ch-aviation research and underscores WEJET’s commitment to broadening its service offerings.

The newly integrated G200, registered as N573PT (msn 127), comes with a storied operational history. At 19.2 years old, the aircraft previously flew under the Part 135 certificate of Presidential Aviation. Under that operator, it carried the ‘PRD’ code and completed its final scheduled flight for Presidential Aviation on October 27, linking Denver Rocky Mountain with Fort Lauderdale Executive. After a brief period out of commission for rebranding and preparation, the aircraft resumed operations in late November using its registration number as its callsign. It then transitioned to WEJET’s operational framework, finally taking to the skies under the ‘WEJ’ code on December 21. Its maiden flight under WEJET was on a route from Fort Lauderdale Executive to Vero Beach Municipal.

This transition highlights WEJET’s agile operational strategy. The company’s decision to incorporate the G200 aligns with its broader plans to diversify and modernize its charter fleet. In addition to expanding the variety of available aircraft for its clients, the move also strengthens WEJET’s market position against competitors in the charter and private aviation sector.

The G200 joins an existing fleet that already includes well-established models such as a 35.1-year-old Citation III and a 31-year-old Citation VII. While the Citation III continues to serve active charter routes, the Citation VII has been parked at Fort Lauderdale Executive since September 22, awaiting future assignments. This carefully curated fleet under WEJET’s Part 135 charter certificate offers flexibility in aircraft choice for various charter needs, ranging from shorter regional hops to longer, more luxurious private flights.

Moreover, WEJET’s operations extend beyond simply offering charter services. The company has consistently showcased its expertise in aircraft management and sales, providing comprehensive solutions that cater to individual and corporate clients alike. This multi-faceted approach not only enhances operational efficiency but also strengthens customer loyalty by addressing a full range of aviation requirements—from luxury travel arrangements to long-term aircraft management contracts.

Presidential Aviation, the former operator of the G200, continues to offer another G200 for charter services, emphasizing the ongoing demand for such aircraft within the market. The competitive landscape in the charter industry is dynamic, and operators like WEJET are strategically positioning themselves by updating their fleets with aircraft that provide superior performance, comfort, and reliability.

The addition of the Gulfstream G200 to WEJET’s fleet is a significant milestone. It underscores the company’s forward-looking approach and adaptability in a competitive industry. By transitioning an aircraft with a robust operational legacy into its fleet, WEJET not only enhances its service offerings but also solidifies its standing in the charter market. Clients can look forward to continued premium service, flexible scheduling, and a fleet that adeptly meets diverse travel needs—further cementing WEJET as a leader in the charter aviation arena.
