Bonair Expands Fleet with First Global 5000 Jet

Bonair (Turkey), based at Istanbul Sabiha Gökcen Airport, has expanded its fleet with the addition of its first Bombardier Global 5000, registered as TC-EGG (msn 9544), according to ch-aviation data. This 11.9-year-old ultra-long-range jet was previously registered as OY-VIZ and operated by ExecuJet Europe (Denmark).
The aircraft was the last of three Global 5000s under ExecuJet’s dormant Danish Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC). Its final flight under the OY- registration occurred on April 21, 2024, between Paris Le Bourget and Bournemouth. After a test flight on December 9 under its new Turkish registration, TC-EGG arrived at Istanbul Atatürk Airport on December 11. The aircraft is configured to accommodate up to 14 passengers, making it ideal for luxury and long-haul charter operations.
The Global 5000 joins Bonair’s diverse fleet of 11 other aircraft, including a Challenger 605, a Challenger 850, a Citation Bravo, a Citation V, three GIV-SPs, a Global Express XRS, a Hawker 750, and two Hawker 850XPs. This latest addition reinforces Bonair’s position in Türkiye’s growing private aviation market, offering expanded capabilities for business and leisure travelers.
Bonair’s focus on adding high-performance jets like the Global 5000 aligns with its commitment to providing premium services and meeting the increasing demand for long-range charter flights in the region and beyond.
