Shankh Air Plans May 2025 Launch from Lucknow
Indian start-up Shankh Air, based in Lucknow, is gearing up for its much-anticipated launch in May 2025, pending the timely acquisition of its Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC). The ambitious new carrier aims to introduce five Airbus A320-200 aircraft this year, with plans to expand its fleet by an additional ten planes in 2026. Shankh Air is set to become the first scheduled airline to operate from the state of Uttar Pradesh, marking a historic milestone for the region’s aviation sector.
