JetsPlus (JPL), based at Fresno Yosemite, has expanded its Part 135-certified fleet with the addition of its first Citation Jet. According to recent ch-aviation research, the aircraft—registered as N55CJ (msn 525-0298)—brings new versatility and value to the operator’s growing fleet of private jets.

N55CJ, a 26.1-year-old Citation Jet, was previously privately operated in the United States. The jet has been parked at Fresno Yosemite since November 11, 2024, after completing a flight from Modesto. Originally registered in the United Kingdom, the aircraft was exported to the United States in 2003. Its entry into JetsPlus’ fleet marks a strategic enhancement as the operator continues to broaden its service offerings in the competitive private aviation market.

JetsPlus, known for offering private jet charter services, aircraft management, and transaction services, already operates a diversified fleet. In addition to the new Citation Jet, its Part 135-certified roster includes a Challenger 604, a Citation Bravo, a G200, and a GVII-G500. The inclusion of the Citation Jet is expected to complement these existing assets by adding flexibility and increasing capacity for short- to medium-range missions.

The decision to add a Citation Jet reflects JetsPlus’ commitment to meeting evolving customer demands. With the global market for private aviation continually expanding, operators are under pressure to provide a variety of aircraft options that cater to different mission requirements—from quick business trips to more extensive charter journeys. The Citation Jet’s proven track record for reliability, comfort, and operational efficiency makes it an ideal candidate for JetsPlus’ fleet.

For clients, the Citation Jet represents a cost-effective yet high-quality option that promises shorter turnaround times and enhanced operational flexibility. Its performance characteristics are well-suited to both corporate and leisure travel, thereby broadening the potential client base for JetsPlus. Additionally, with its established reputation in the private jet segment, the Citation Jet is expected to attract new charter opportunities, further solidifying JetsPlus’ position as a leader in the private aviation space.

JetsPlus’ fleet expansion comes at a time when demand for bespoke air travel continues to grow. As more companies and high-net-worth individuals seek tailored travel solutions, operators must adapt by offering a range of modern, well-maintained aircraft. By incorporating the Citation Jet into its Part 135 fleet, JetsPlus is not only diversifying its aircraft portfolio but also enhancing its competitive edge.

Moreover, the move underscores the broader trend in the aviation industry where operators are investing in fleet modernization to boost efficiency and improve customer satisfaction. The Citation Jet’s entry into the JetsPlus fleet is a testament to the company’s forward-thinking approach and its willingness to invest in assets that promise long-term benefits.

As JetsPlus continues to build on its reputation for exceptional service, the addition of the Citation Jet is poised to drive further growth. With a strong foundation in aircraft management and transaction services, JetsPlus is well-positioned to navigate the dynamic landscape of private aviation while meeting the diverse needs of its clientele.

JetsPlus’ strategic fleet expansion with the new Citation Jet highlights its commitment to innovation, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, ensuring it remains a prominent player in the private jet charter industry.
