Hospitality technology firm Mews has successfully raised $75 million to support its strategic expansion in the United States, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The Amsterdam-based company plans to use the new capital to enhance its platform with advanced AI-driven revenue management capabilities and to facilitate strategic acquisitions.

The funding round was led by Tiger Global and saw participation from existing investors such as Kinnevik, Battery Ventures, and Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives. This infusion of capital marks a significant milestone in Mews’ growth trajectory, especially in the U.S. market where the company has already seen a notable increase in revenue and user base.

Matt Welle, CEO of Mews, emphasized the potential of AI in revolutionizing the hospitality industry, stating, “There are so many opportunities for AI to enhance both the guest journey and operational efficiencies in an industry that is so data-rich.” With the backing of Tiger Global, Mews aims to spearhead innovation at the intersection of hospitality and AI technology.

Richard Valtr, founder of Mews, highlighted the strategic importance of the partnership with Tiger Global, noting their experience with high-growth technology companies in the U.S. This collaboration is expected to accelerate Mews’ innovation efforts and expand its market footprint. Valtr added, “This investment reaffirms our dedication to the U.S. market, where we have established strong leadership and have invested over $50 million to expand our business in the last couple of years.”

Over the past year, Mews has been active in acquisitions, having integrated HS3 Hotelsoftware, Quotelo, Atomize, and Clarity Hospitality Software Solutions into its portfolio. These strategic moves are part of Mews’ broader plan to solidify its position as a global leader in the hospitality technology sector, aiming for sustained growth and innovation.
