FSH Aviation Resumes Citation Sovereign+ Service
FSH Aviation, based at Leipzig/Halle, has reintroduced the Citation Sovereign+ into its charter fleet, marking a return to operations with the model after a three-year hiatus. The aircraft, registered as D-CWWA with manufacturer serial number 680-0502, is 13 years old and originally operated privately in the United States when it was new. This resumption of service signals FSH Aviation’s continued commitment to offering a modern and diverse fleet for its charter customers.
The Citation Sovereign+ has an interesting operational history. The jet had been parked at Charleston International Airport since July 10, 2024, following a flight from Philadelphia International Airport. On January 30, 2025, its United States registration, N354JR, was cancelled as part of the process to transition the aircraft for international operations. Shortly afterward, on February 12, the jet was exported to Germany, making its way to Leipzig/Halle via Goose Bay. The aircraft became active again on February 24 when it flew to Mönchengladbach, where it currently remains parked as FSH Aviation prepares for its next phase of charter operations.
The reintroduction of the Citation Sovereign+ is significant because FSH Aviation had previously offered a Citation Sovereign for charter service between October 2021 and March 2022. However, during that period, the operations were managed by ProAir Aviation. Now, with the new induction of the Citation Sovereign+, FSH Aviation is expanding its fleet beyond the three Citation Jet 2 aircraft that had previously been the sole models in its Part 135-certified fleet.
