Revesco Aviation Retires Citation Sovereign+ Jet
Revesco Aviation, based at Perth International, has recently retired its sole Citation Sovereign+ jet from its Part 135-certified fleet. The decision marks a significant change for the operator as it continues to modernize its fleet and refine its service offerings. The aircraft, registered as VH-MMC with manufacturer serial number 680-0546, is 9.7 years old and was a key component of the company’s operations since its induction in 2021.
Initially based at the Sunshine Coast, the Citation Sovereign+ remained active until early December 2024. During that period, the jet flew scheduled routes that helped serve the company’s charter clients. Its last active flight occurred on December 30, 2024, operating between San José in the United States and its home base in Scottsdale. Following that flight, the aircraft was parked at Melbourne Essendon Airport until February 24, 2025. On that date, the jet completed a roundtrip flight to Mildura before undergoing re-registration in the United States as N298AJ. Since completing that final operational flight, the Citation Sovereign+ has remained inactive, prompting Revesco Aviation to remove it from its Part 135 fleet.
With the retirement of the Citation Sovereign+, Revesco Aviation now operates a diverse fleet that includes a Citation Ultra, a Phenom 300, a Phenom 300E, a GIV-SP, a Hawker 850XP, a Diamond DA-42NG, and a King Air B200. This change comes shortly after the company phased out its only Citation Bravo from its charter operations. By updating its fleet, Revesco Aviation continues to maintain a modern mix of aircraft designed to meet the evolving needs of its clientele, while also managing operational costs and ensuring high levels of safety and efficiency.
