After an extensive renovation, the 2,124-guest Carnival Spirit is back in service, now boasting a range of exciting upgrades designed to enhance the guest experience. Among the standout additions is the new Heroes Tribute Bar—a dedicated space that now appears on 14 of Carnival Cruise Line’s ships. This unique bar offers a welcoming hangout for active-duty service members and military veterans, celebrating their contributions while providing a relaxing spot onboard.

The refurbishment didn’t stop there. Carnival Spirit has received a comprehensive update across its public spaces and amenities. The ship’s renowned Cloud 9 spa has been refreshed, along with improvements to the fitness center and retail shops. Guests can now explore the brand-new Carnival Adventures Shop, check out the latest in entertainment at the Dreams Studio, or challenge friends to a round of mini golf on the newly installed course. Additionally, the cruise line has carved out a dedicated area for Chef’s Table, providing an intimate dining experience that promises to delight food enthusiasts.

The entertainment and gaming areas have also seen a makeover. The casino now features a fresh new look and layout, designed to create a more dynamic and inviting atmosphere. The ship’s nightclub and all youth program spaces have been updated, ensuring that every age group has access to vibrant and engaging experiences while at sea.

Carnival Spirit recently departed Barcelona and is currently cruising across the Atlantic towards Miami. From its new port of call, the vessel will transit through the Panama Canal en route to Seattle, where it will prepare for an exciting summer season in Alaska. Week-long Alaska cruises are scheduled to begin in mid-April, offering travelers the chance to experience breathtaking natural landscapes and unique adventure activities.

Looking ahead, Carnival Spirit’s itinerary continues to expand with a variety of enticing voyages. In September, the ship will embark on a 15-day “Carnival Journeys” round trip from Seattle to Hawaii, delivering an immersive tropical experience. Then, in October, it will set sail on a one-way voyage from Seattle to New Orleans, before returning to its seasonal homeport in Mobile, Alabama.

“The new Heroes Tribute Bar and all the other upgrades to Carnival Spirit are part of our ongoing effort to continually enhance our existing fleet with features we know our guests appreciate and enjoy,” said Lisa McCabe, Carnival’s vice president of refurbishments. Her comments underscore the company’s commitment to investing in its ships to create memorable cruise experiences for every traveler.

With its refreshed public spaces, upgraded amenities, and expanded itineraries, Carnival Spirit is poised to offer a renewed sense of adventure and luxury at sea. Whether guests are drawn by the allure of Alaska’s majestic landscapes, the tropical charm of Hawaii, or the vibrant cultural tapestry of New Orleans, the newly revamped Carnival Spirit promises a voyage filled with modern comforts, exciting new attractions, and timeless Carnival fun.
