Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth has made a grand return to the water following a comprehensive three-week makeover at Seatrium’s Admiralty Yard in Singapore. The refurbishment, which was completed just in time for the ship’s inaugural Miami-Caribbean and Alaska seasons, has given the 2,000-guest vessel a fresh, luxurious new look.

Queen Elizabeth’s new chapter will begin on June 12, 2025, when she launches her first Alaska season from Seattle. Later, on October 16, 2025, the ship will embark on her first-ever Caribbean voyage from Miami, marking a new milestone for the iconic Cunard ship.

The renovation saw significant updates to some of the ship’s most signature spaces. Notably, the Commodore Club, Queens Room, Garden Lounge, and The Pavilion received complete revamps. Outdoor decks were also enhanced, and the Grills suites were elevated to offer an even more luxurious experience.

In addition to the refreshed spaces, Queen Elizabeth now features The Pavilion Wellness Café and introduces the Harper’s Bazaar Wellness at Sea program, which debuted last year on Cunard’s Queen Anne. These new offerings reflect Cunard’s commitment to combining classic luxury with modern comfort.

Katie McAlister, president of Cunard, shared her excitement about the ship’s transformation, saying, “As Queen Elizabeth begins this exciting new chapter, we are delighted to offer guests an even more refined experience on board, with beautifully updated spaces that combine classic Cunard style with modern comfort.”

Queen Elizabeth’s upcoming full season based in Miami will make it easier for U.S. guests and international travelers alike to experience the Caribbean with Cunard’s signature luxury. McAlister added, “The region remains a favorite for travelers on both sides of the Atlantic, and we can’t wait to welcome guests on board.”
