MGM Rewards Unveils Game-Changing Benefits

MGM Resorts’ loyalty program, MGM Rewards, has introduced a host of innovative benefits designed to elevate the member experience across the globe and at sea. The latest enhancements include the debut of Milestone Rewards, expanded tier match benefits with Marriott Bonvoy, elevated access to cruise perks through Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises, a new eGift card, and soon, an iconic credit card. These additions are designed to reward members at every level and provide them with a more seamless and rewarding experience.
The new tier match benefits with Marriott Bonvoy now allow MGM Rewards members to enjoy elevated privileges at over 10,000 global destinations. Pearl members automatically receive Marriott Bonvoy Silver Elite status, while Gold members are upgraded to Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite status. Platinum members continue to receive the Gold Elite status benefit, and the exclusive NOIR members match into Marriott Bonvoy Ambassador Elite, Marriott’s highest tier. These enhancements mean members can now enjoy benefits such as priority late checkout, room upgrades, welcome gifts, and more—providing a smoother transition between the two loyalty programs. Existing linked accounts are automatically updated to reflect the new tier status match, ensuring that members can take full advantage of the enhanced privileges without delay.
In addition to the hotel benefits, MGM Rewards has strengthened its cruise partnerships. Platinum and NOIR members now gain enhanced access to Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises, which includes upgraded staterooms, a broader selection of itineraries, and the possibility for longer vacation options. The Annual Cruise Benefit is now available to Gold members, while all MGM Rewards members can enjoy a new Onboard FreePlay benefit when sailing on select loyalty offer cruises, certificate offers, or group cruises. This means that whether members are seeking luxurious getaways on land or memorable journeys at sea, they now have more ways than ever to earn and enjoy exclusive rewards.
The introduction of Milestone Rewards offers members the opportunity to earn additional benefits between Tier Status achievements. With the new Rollover Tier Credits system, members can carry over up to 25,000 Tier Credits into the 2026 earning year. By earning 50,000 Tier Credits in 2025, members can roll over 7,500 credits, and those reaching 125,000 credits can carry over an additional 17,500. Premium added perks include a $100 Tier Celebration Credit for Gold members, which can be used across MGM’s hotels, dining, spa, or entertainment experiences. Platinum members receive a $200 credit plus up to $600 air travel credit for select flights, while NOIR members enjoy a $500 credit with the added benefit of up to $1,200 in air travel credit to fly to MGM destinations such as Las Vegas, Beau Rivage, or Borgata.
Furthermore, the debut of the new MGM Rewards eGift card offers a convenient, online way for members to purchase gift experiences across MGM Resorts’ 20 iconic destinations. The eGift card can be redeemed at participating retail locations, restaurants, bars, spas, and even applied toward room nights for hotel stays, providing more flexibility and options for rewards redemption.
Anil Mansukhani, Vice President of Loyalty Marketing at MGM Resorts, explained that these program enhancements are a direct response to member feedback. The goal is to create a best-in-class loyalty experience that rewards guests for their continuous advancements through every tier. With these new benefits, MGM Rewards is setting a new standard in the travel and leisure industry, ensuring that every member receives more value and a more personalized experience throughout their journey.
