Spring City Aviation has expanded its Part 135-certified charter fleet with the addition of its first Citation X business jet. The aircraft, a 16.9-year-old Citation X registered as N789XJ (msn 750-0289), is based at Waukesha, Wisconsin. Although it has been under Spring City Aviation’s management since May 2023, it was only recently approved for Part 135 charter operations.

The high-speed Citation X joins Spring City Aviation’s growing charter fleet, which already includes three Citation Bravos, one Citation Excel, and two King Air B200 turboprops. In total, the company manages 26 additional aircraft, including a Citation X+, which are not currently available for charter services.

Spring City Aviation offers a comprehensive suite of aviation services beyond charter operations. The company specializes in aircraft management, maintenance, and aircraft sales. It also operates several fixed-base operations (FBOs) and provides flight training at various locations, including Dillon, South Carolina; Milwaukee Lawrence J. Timmerman Airport; Muara Bungo; and its headquarters in Waukesha.

With the addition of the Citation X to its certified charter fleet, Spring City Aviation enhances its capability to serve high-end clients seeking faster and more efficient private jet travel options. The aircraft is known for being one of the fastest business jets in operation, offering coast-to-coast U.S. travel in less time compared to other midsize jets.

The move aligns with the company’s broader strategy to expand its premium charter offerings while maintaining strong capabilities in training, maintenance, and FBO services.
