Holland America Opens Bookings for 2027 Grand Voyages

Holland America Line has opened bookings for its 2027 Grand Voyages, offering travelers two extended sailings designed for immersive exploration. The first, a 129-day circumnavigation on Volendam, departs and returns to Fort Lauderdale, visiting 53 ports across 28 countries. The second voyage, a 70-day Grand South America & Antarctica expedition aboard Zaandam, also sails round-trip from Fort Lauderdale, calling at 31 ports in 13 countries. Early bookings will reward guests with generous incentives.
Passengers who reserve their staterooms early on the Grand Voyages will receive up to $2,000 in onboard credits per guest, enhancing dining, shore excursions and onboard activities. Furthermore, a three percent pay-in-full discount applies to full-payment bookings, encouraging travelers to commit early. All guests who pay in full can access a complimentary Wi-Fi package, ensuring they stay connected throughout the lengthy itineraries. Those booking through Holland America’s Flight Ease program will qualify for up to $500 in air credits per person, covering flights to and from Fort Lauderdale.
Beth Bodensteiner, president of Holland America Line, emphasizes the unique nature of these extended cruises. She notes that “carefully crafted itineraries featuring unique ports of call” distinguish the Grand Voyages from other world cruises. Travelers can look forward to a selection of destinations curated as part of the company’s Mariners’ Collection, a portfolio of bucket-list and often hard-to-reach locations that are rarely featured on standard cruise itineraries.
The 2027 Grand World Voyage showcases this Collection by charting a global course that includes stops in iconic cities, remote islands and culturally rich harbors. Highlights could range from historic capitals in Europe to lesser-visited coastal towns in the South Pacific. Enrichment lectures and cultural performances on board will complement each port visit, offering guests deeper insights before they step ashore. Each port offers guided excursions and onboard enrichment programs that bring local history and cuisine to life, providing a comprehensive understanding of the regions visited.
Similarly, the Grand South America & Antarctica voyage blends cultural immersion with polar adventuring. Guests will explore Latin American cities, witness UNESCO World Heritage sites, and traverse the Panama Canal before reaching the Antarctic Peninsula. Shore excursions include glacier landings, wildlife viewing and opportunities to learn from regional experts, ensuring a deep connection with each environment.
These Grand Voyages reflect Holland America Line’s commitment to delivering transformative travel experiences. By combining extensive itineraries, exceptional onboard service and value-added incentives, the cruise line aims to attract seasoned world travelers seeking comprehensive itineraries and first-time global cruisers alike. Sales agents and travel advisors report high interest as early bird offers provide compelling reasons to secure a cabin now.
Bookings for the 2027 Grand Voyages are available through Holland America Line’s website, travel advisors and partner agencies. With limited availability on these epic journeys, prospective guests are encouraged to reserve their place soon to take advantage of early booking savings and guarantee passage on one of the most ambitious cruise programs Holland America has offered.
