Cunard, Abbey Road Studios launch new Listening Lounge at sea

Cunard has announced a partnership with the iconic Abbey Road Studios to introduce a new Listening Lounge experience aboard the Queen Elizabeth. Launching this fall, the experience will debut in the ship’s Commodore Club during Queen Elizabeth’s maiden Caribbean season from Miami in October 2025.
The 60-minute curated sessions will feature playlists selected by the Abbey Road team, delivered through high-resolution Bowers & Wilkins Hi-Res / ANC headphones. Guests will enjoy a wide range of music, including tracks from artists like Ed Sheeran, Fela Kuti, Gregory Porter, Ezra Collective, Little Simz, and The Beatles, along with selections from iconic film scores such as Raiders of the Lost Ark, Return of the Jedi, The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Harry Potter, and Skyfall.
The Listening Lounge will be available on select sea days, paired with a specially curated cocktail menu to enhance the immersive experience.
In addition, Cunard will host a special Abbey Road transatlantic sailing on October 23, 2025, from Southampton to New York. This exclusive voyage will feature live performances, a photography exhibition, and Q&A sessions with Abbey Road’s recording and mastering engineers.
“We’re always seeking new ways to elevate the onboard experience,” said Katie McAlister, president of Cunard. “Partnering with Abbey Road Studios brings legendary musical heritage to sea, creating unforgettable soundtracks for our guests as they relax and sail.”
The partnership blends luxury cruising with world-class music, offering a unique experience for Cunard guests.
