Sabre Expands AI Across SynXis Booking Platform
Sabre Hospitality is expanding its artificial intelligence capabilities by integrating new AI-driven tools into its SynXis booking engine. Building on the foundation laid by SynXis Concierge.AI, launched in 2023, this latest upgrade aims to enhance the guest booking experience while improving hotel operational efficiency.
The expanded SynXis Concierge.AI suite includes a multilingual AI-powered chatbot capable of responding to booking inquiries and offering personalized room suggestions in over 50 languages. Hotels will also benefit from advanced email automation that scans incoming messages to extract relevant guest details and generate tailored offers. In addition, the platform now includes social media sentiment analysis, allowing hotels to monitor guest interactions and feedback on social platforms in real time.
Sabre Hospitality President Scott Wilson said the integration brings the company closer to its vision of embedding AI across its portfolio to deliver more value to hoteliers and their guests. He confirmed that early adopter testing of the new SynXis booking engine capabilities began in June, with broader access planned for July through Sabre’s community portal.
The new tools are designed to be deeply integrated into the SynXis ecosystem. Hotels can manage all AI interactions from a single inbox and customize the system at the property, chain, or brand level. This flexibility ensures that the technology enhances rather than replaces the human touch that defines hospitality.
Amy Read, vice president of innovation at Sabre Hospitality, emphasized the balance between automation and personalization. She noted that the latest AI additions enable hotels to scale guest service and increase conversion rates while maintaining a consistent brand voice. By improving efficiency without sacrificing personalization, Sabre hopes to help hotels meet evolving traveler expectations across digital touchpoints.
