The new partnership was marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Doha’s Hamad International Airport, attended by executives from both airlines.
The daily nonstop service between Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila and Hamad International Airport in Doha will be operated by Philippine Airlines using Airbus A330-300 aircraft. These long-range jets feature a dual-class layout with 18 flat-bed Business Class seats and 341 Economy Class seats, offering comfort and convenience for the nearly ten-hour journey.
Under the codeshare agreement, flights will operate with the designators QR4946/PR684 from Manila to Doha, departing at 18:50 and arriving at 23:40 local time. He emphasized that this addition strengthens Qatar Airways’ network and customer offerings, further supported by the world-class facilities at Hamad International Airport.
