Princess Cruises Reveals Star Princess Entertainment Lineup

Princess Cruises has unveiled the entertainment offerings aboard its newest ship, Star Princess, set to debut on October 4, 2025. The 4,300-guest vessel, a sister ship to Sun Princess, was built by Fincantieri in Monfalcone and will sail itineraries in the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Panama Canal, and Alaska.
Entertainment highlights aboard Star Princess include two original theatrical productions, nightly pop-up performances, and immersive candlelight concerts. “We’re not just putting on shows—we’re crafting unforgettable moments,” said Lorna Warren, Vice President of Hotel Operations and Guest Experience at Princess Cruises. “Star Princess was designed to surprise, move, and inspire every night.”
The Princess Arena will feature Meridian, a theatrical journey set aboard a grand ship during the age of elegance. The production is directed by BAFTA-winning creative Dan Shipton, choreographed by Kieran Daley-Ward, and produced by Ross Nicholson. Also debuting in the Arena is Illuminate: A Spectacle of Joy, a vibrant musical with a pop score by Kola Bello and choreography by Jay Revell, who co-directs alongside Nicholson. Both shows were developed in collaboration with Black Skull Creative.
Returning to Star Princess after premiering on Sun Princess is Viva La Música, choreographed by Liz Imperio, known for her work with artists like Jennifer Lopez and Madonna.
Other standout experiences include candlelight concerts inside the ship’s glass-enclosed Dome, the lively Princess Jamz performance in the Piazza led by the Princess World Orchestra, and the new Celestial Champagne Soirée, combining light, sound, and visual storytelling for an immersive experience.
