Emirates to Hire 17,300 Staff Worldwide in 2025–2026

Emirates has unveiled plans to recruit 17,300 new employees globally during the 2025–2026 financial year, expanding its workforce across 350 job categories. The hiring campaign, announced on July 22, 2025, will span the Emirates airline and its sister company Dnata, covering roles in operations, engineering, customer service, and more.
The company stated that hundreds of professionals are needed for positions including cabin crew, pilots, engineers, commercial and sales staff, ground handling, catering, IT, HR, and finance. Dnata alone aims to recruit over 4,000 specialists in cargo, ground handling, and catering services to meet growing global demand.
“We’re seeking world-class talent to fuel our bold ambition, redefine the future of aviation, and continue our commitment and culture of innovation and excellence,” said HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group. He added that the initiative presents a unique opportunity for skilled individuals to contribute to the group’s continued success.
To support this major recruitment push, Emirates will host over 2,100 open days and events in 150 cities worldwide, targeting key roles such as pilots, engineers, cabin crew, and IT professionals. The campaign will also include events in Dubai focused on attracting UAE national students and recent graduates.
Employees based in Dubai receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes annual profit-sharing, medical and life insurance, and extensive travel perks. These perks range from free annual leave tickets to discounted fares for family and friends, reduced cargo rates, and membership cards offering discounts at retail, hospitality, and lifestyle outlets across the city.
The announcement follows a year of strong hiring for Emirates Group, which received more than 3.7 million applications in the last financial year. Since 2022, the company has added over 41,000 professionals, including nearly 27,000 in frontline operational roles. Today, Emirates employs a global team of 121,000 staff.
This large-scale hiring drive highlights the airline’s continued expansion and its confidence in the future of global aviation, with a focus on delivering world-class service and innovation at every level of its operations.
