JetBlue is ramping up its presence in South Florida with a major expansion at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), adding new routes, increasing flight frequencies, and expanding its Mint premium service. Beginning this winter, the airline will launch nonstop service to four destinations: Norfolk (five times weekly) and Tampa (once daily) starting December 4, as well as Atlanta (once daily) and Austin (twice daily), which return to the network on December 4 and November 20, respectively.

In addition to the new routes, JetBlue is boosting its daily service to key U.S. cities, increasing frequencies on flights to Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Raleigh-Durham, and Richmond. The carrier is also enhancing its premium Mint offering, deploying more Mint-equipped aircraft on West Coast routes to cater to growing demand for upscale travel experiences.

By December, JetBlue will operate up to 95 daily departures from FLL to 37 destinations, including 13 daily Mint flights. This move solidifies JetBlue’s commitment to Fort Lauderdale as a strategic hub and positions the airline to capture a larger share of South Florida’s competitive air travel market.

The expansion highlights JetBlue’s broader growth strategy as it seeks to strengthen its domestic network and offer premium services beyond its traditional Northeast base. With increased connectivity and more comfortable options for travelers, JetBlue aims to attract both leisure and business customers flying through one of Florida’s busiest airports.
