Atlas Ocean Voyages Expands Sales and Guest Services Team

Atlas Ocean Voyages has expanded its sales and guest services team as part of its continued commitment to travel advisors and luxury cruise growth. The appointments bring seasoned talent to key roles across North America and guest operations.
Kelly Popovski joins as senior director of field sales for North America, while Richard Whitaker becomes director of national accounts. Logan Steele will serve as regional sales director for the Southeast U.S., and Juan Lopez has been named director of guest services. Pedro Jaimot takes on the role of director of charter and MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions) operations.
Additionally, Isabel Galvan has been appointed vice president of commercial operations and systems development to lead a newly formed department focused on day-to-day operational excellence.
“This talented sales team enhances our resources and strengthens our valued partnerships with the travel advisor community,” said Kristian Anderson, executive vice president of global sales, who recently joined the company. “As we continue to grow, travel advisors remain an essential part of our success.”
Atlas Ocean Voyages has redefined expedition-style cruising with a luxury twist, expanding beyond polar voyages into Mediterranean, Caribbean, and Northern Europe itineraries aboard its modern fleet of expedition yachts.
Company president and CEO James A. Rodriguez highlighted Anderson’s recent hiring as a strategic move to elevate brand visibility. “Kristian’s reputation in the luxury travel space supports our trade-first strategy and is critical at this stage of our growth,” he said.
Anderson added, “The potential at Atlas is enormous—this is a rare and exciting opportunity.”
