Gaylord Hotels ICE! Brings Holiday Magic to Six Resorts
Gaylord Hotels will once again host the beloved Christmas tradition of ICE! at six destination resorts for the 2025 holiday season. The event will feature over two million pounds of hand-carved ice sculptures, illuminated with vibrant LED lighting and crafted into floor-to-ceiling scenes from six classic holiday stories.
Guests can explore more than 10 immersive displays, glide down two-story ice slides, and enjoy the frosty 9-degree atmosphere while bundled up in signature blue parkas. Alongside the ice spectacle, visitors can experience Broadway-style Cirque shows, themed character dining, and family-friendly festive activities.
Starting in November, ICE! will be hosted at:
- Gaylord Opryland Resort, Nashville, TN – “A Charlie Brown Christmas”
- Gaylord Palms Resort, Kissimmee, FL – “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer”
- Gaylord National Resort, National Harbor, MD – “The Polar Express”
- Gaylord Rockies Resort, Aurora, CO – “How the Grinch Stole Christmas!”
- Gaylord Texan Resort, Grapevine, TX – “Elf”
- JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort, San Antonio, TX – “Frosty the Snowman”
Each location will bring its story to life with intricate ice artistry, offering guests the chance to step inside their favorite holiday scenes. From Charlie Brown rediscovering Christmas spirit to the Grinch’s heartwarming transformation, each display is designed to inspire joy and wonder for visitors of all ages.
Day and overnight packages will be available, giving families a chance to combine the ICE! experience with other seasonal festivities at the resorts.
