Aurora Expeditions Opens Bookings for 2027 Voyages

Aurora Expeditions has opened bookings for its highly anticipated 2027 season, featuring 21 voyages across 22 countries on three purpose-built small ships—the Greg Mortimer, Sylvia Earle, and the upcoming Douglas Mawson. The new program spans the Mediterranean, Adriatic, Atlantic and African coasts, Northern Europe, and Central America, with itineraries ranging from nine to 17 days.
“Our new season goes beyond cruising—it’s storytelling at sea,” said Katie Malone, Aurora Expeditions’ chief marketing officer. “Whether it’s a wine tasting in Bordeaux, tracing Viking sagas in Scandinavia, standing on the battlegrounds of Culloden, or visiting Prince Albert’s private car garage in Monaco, every voyage connects travelers to history, culture, and community in a way that only small ships can.”
The 2027 season introduces nine brand-new itineraries, including A Mediterranean Feast (Valletta to Barcelona), La Dolce Vita (Nice to Rome), Treasures of the Adriatic (Valletta to Zagreb), Costa Rica & Panama: Crossing the Canal (Panama City to San Jose), Europe’s Engineering Icons (Amsterdam to Copenhagen), Spirited Shores (Ireland to Portugal), and For Kin and Kingdom (England & Ireland).
Aurora’s purpose-built ships are designed to access smaller ports and provide immersive experiences with fewer guests, enabling deeper cultural and historical connections along each route. With the 2027 season now on sale, travelers can secure early access to some of the line’s most diverse and culturally rich voyages to date, blending adventure with intimate, small-ship exploration.
