Rémi Bouysset Named CEO of Oceanwide Expeditions

Oceanwide Expeditions, the award-winning operator known for activity-focused polar itineraries in the Arctic and Antarctica, has appointed Rémi Bouysset as its new chief executive officer effective June 16, 2025. The strategic hire signals the company’s commitment to strengthening its brand and expanding its presence in the competitive expedition cruise market.

Bouysset brings more than 30 years of experience across the travel, hospitality, and luxury sectors. He has held leadership roles driving business development in Europe and globally, with a résumé spanning maritime and yachting operations, tour operations, aviation and helicopter management, and expedition cruising. This diverse background positions him to guide Oceanwide’s growth while maintaining its reputation for authentic polar exploration and responsible travel.
