Marriott to Debut Series by Marriott Brand in the U.S.

Marriott International will soon roll out its newest lifestyle collection, Series by Marriott, across the United States. In partnership with Hawkins Way Capital, the hotel giant has signed agreements to convert five FOUND Hotels into the Series by Marriott portfolio.
The properties, located in Miami, Santa Monica, San Francisco, Chicago, and San Diego, are slated to transition over the next year. Each hotel will retain its distinct personality while gaining access to Marriott’s extensive distribution, loyalty, and revenue platforms.
“The launch of Series by Marriott in the United States is an exciting milestone, marking a bold new chapter for both the brand and Marriott,” said Noah Silverman, Global Development Officer for U.S. & Canada at Marriott International. “Reflective of a growing demand for upscale collection brands, Series by Marriott is designed to give regional owners a conversion opportunity that preserves their hotels’ unique identities while delivering authentic guest experiences.”
Ross Walker, Managing Partner of Hawkins Way Capital, called the collaboration “an exciting catalyst” for expanding his firm’s hospitality footprint nationwide. “By aligning FOUND Hotels with Series by Marriott, we’re preserving the brand’s identity while leveraging Marriott’s global reach and valued loyalty system,” Walker noted.
With Series by Marriott, the company aims to offer approachable, local lifestyle hotels in top U.S. destinations. The new brand reflects Marriott’s broader strategy to diversify its portfolio of conversion-friendly collection brands, meeting the evolving preferences of both travelers and owners in key urban and coastal markets.
